The success of Big Local in Wembley Central can only really be measured in relation to the positive local impact it has on the lives of those who live, work and play in this little part of Brent.
In order to measure how well Big Local is doing we have four key aims we aspire to;
- Wembley Central community will be better able to identify local needs and take action in response to them.
- The community will make a difference to the needs it prioritises.
- People will feel that Wembley Central is an even better place to live
- People will have increased skills and confidence so that they continue to identify and respond to needs in the future
To enable us to continually measure the impact of the project in this area, we will be collecting stories from local people who have been involved with Big Local. We’re excited to share their experiences with the wider community. You can read these stories in our newsletter and on this website along with our latest news
If you live, work or play in Wembley Central and have a story to share about your involvement with Big Local or about ways in which our area can be or is being improved, then please do get in touch. As a resident led project we’re also really keen for local people to take ownership of our blog and so if you would like to write stories on behalf of another resident or if you are a keen interviewer, we’d love to hear from you.
Our hope is that through sharing stories we can learn from one another, feel encouraged that positive change is always possible and inspired to move towards making Wembley Central an even better place to live.
